To obtain the latest IP control buddy software, please email support@tslproducts.com stating the current software version of your unit and its serial number. A member of our team will be able to provide you with the correct latest software as there are specific releases for each device.
Once obtained, follow the below steps to ensure the unit is updated correctly:
1. Log in using your credentials assigned by a system administrator. If unassigned, the default credentials are as below:
Username: dnfuser
Password: controls
2. Navigate to 'System Configuration' and click on 'P1 Software Upgrade'
3. Click 'P1 Upgrade'. The panel text will go blank, but will remain lit green.
4.Open the.exe application in the software update folder provided by our support team. The application is named “USP3_P1_Upgrade.exe”.
5. Click on FIND ALL DEVICES or type in the IP address of the EB/EG. IP address will appear in the select dropdown field of the EB/EG device to be upgraded.
6. You will be prompted with a confirm window, click “YES” to enable the Run Program menu item.
7. Select the “Program” tab on the upper left hand side of the executable. To upgrade the current P1 software select “Program” under the tab. Selecting “Run Program” will not update the P1 file.
8. Once “Program” has been selected, the upload process of the new P1 file will begin. The software update is complete after the unit has completely booted.
