To update an Embrionix Stick or SFP, please contact TSL Support by emailing support@tslproducts.com, specifying the module serial number and MAC address which can be found on the label at the top of the stick and the current software version loaded on the stick.

Insert the stick will need to be inserted at the back of a PAM2-IP or PAM1-IP that is switched on and not monitoring audio.

Connect the SFP to a 10G switch (i.e. Arista Switch) using Fibre cable. On the SFP the Fibre port is located at the rear of the stick, you will need to remove the black rubber cover.

The switch will need to be connected to a designated PC.

Once done, remote into the SFP's webpage by entering it's IP address into a web browser, if there is a connection this will prompt a page similar to the one seen below. You can also change the SFP's IP address on the PAM unit by navigating Main Menu/SVIP/Module Setup. Press 'Take' to save the settings once changed.

The green highlighted element shows the currently software that is set as default. Upload the unzipped Disc Image file and then you will be able to set this as default. If done correctly, the latest version should be highlighted green under the element column.

Once done you can exit the page and then remove the connections. Re-insert the stick and this should now load the latest v3.7. You can check this by navigating Main Menu/Setup/Setup2/Setup3/About.
